Day 1 Mulu National Park / Deer & Lang Caves
Morning, upon arrival at Mulu Airport, transfer and check in Mulu National Park HQ for check in at Park Chalet. Afternoon, depart for a three KM plankwalk to Deer Cave and Lang Cave. Late afternoon, observe the millions of bats coming out from the vast mouth of the Deer Cave which will be a memorable occurrence during fine weather. Return to park chalet for overnight. (Dinner included)
Day 2 Mulu National Park / Wind & Clearwater Caves / Penan Settlement / Camp 5
Depart by a long boat going up river to WindCave via Penan settlement. Visit the settlement and observe the lifestyle of this tribe. Visit Wind Cave and explore the limestone formation of this unique eco system. Continue the journey by plankwalk to ClearwaterCave where more interesting stone formation can be seen. Rajah Brooke butterflies can be seen hovering at the river and entrance of the caves. Picnic lunch at Clearwater summer huts. Continue journey by longboat to Long Litut and then jungle trek for 3 hours to Camp 5. Dinner & overnight at Camp 5. (Breakfast/ Lunch / Dinner included)
Day 3 Camp 5 / Gunung Api / Camp 5
After breakfast, ascend on a 3 hours trek to Gunung Api to view the magnificent Pinnacles. On the trail, you may come across the various species of interesting plants and flowers. Pack lunch will be served at the observatory point. After lunch, descend to Camp 5. Dinner and overnight at Camp 5. (Breakfast/Pack Lunch/Dinner included)
Day 4 Camp 5 / Departure
After breakfast, jungle trek to Long Litut and transfer by longboat to Clearwater Summer Huts for picnic lunch. After lunch, transfer to Mulu Airport for your departure flight. (Breakfast/Picnic lunch included)
** What to bring – Disposable raincoat, cap, sunblock lotion, insect repellent, drinking water, flashlight, swim wear, bath towel, personal toiletries & items of personal use. Use good walking shoes and bring a pair of flat walking sandal. Comfortable cotton T-shirts with long or short pants recommended.
Note: In accordance to the Malaysian Tourism Tax Act 2017, with effect from 1st Sep 2017, all foreign tourists will be charged a flat rate of RM10 per room per night in any registered tourist accommodation premises and this is collected directly by the hotels/resorts/lodges upon check in. The Tourism Tax (TTx) is mandatory under Malaysian Law. Tourism Tax is not included in this package.
