Day 1 Lahad Datu / Danum Valley / Nature walk
Upon arrival at Lahad Datu Airport, meet and depart on a scheduled 2.5hrs overland drive to Danum Valley. Arrive the award winning Borneo Rainforest Lodge and check into accommodation (Standard). After lunch, a guided jungle walk to the Canopy walkway to experience the sound of the birds. Return to lodge. After dinner, there will be a briefing and slide show presentation. Depart on a night drive in an open-air jeep in search of nocturnal animals (if weather permits). (Lunch/Dinner included)
Day 2 Nature walk / Night drive / Danum Valley
After breakfast, depart on an exciting nature trail to ‘Coffin cliff’, that leads to a Kadazandusun burial site. Continue trek to ‘View Point’ for a bird’s eye view of the area. Descend to the ‘Jacuzzi Pool’ for a refreshing dip. Return to lodge for lunch. Own leisure after lunch.
After dinner, depart on a night drive in an open-air jeep in search of nocturnal animals (if weather permits). (breakfast/Lunch/Dinner included)
Day 3 Nature walk / Danum Valley / Lahad Datu
After breakfast, depart on a guided walk to Segama Trail or Hornbill Trail. Return to lodge for lunch. Check out and depart on a scheduled 2.5hrs overland drive to Lahad Datu. Drop off at your hotel in Lahad Datu or Lahad Datu Airport. (Breakfast/Lunch included)
** What to bring – Disposable raincoat, pullover, cap, sunblock lotion, insect repellent, drinking water, flashlight, leech socks, swim wear, personal toiletries & items of personal use. Use good walking shoes and bring a pair of flat walking sandal. Comfortable cotton T-shirts with long or short pants
