Itinerary:
DAY 1 KOTA KINABALU – KINABALU NATIONAL PARK
Depart from the city hotel. The journey to Kinabalu National Park takes about 1.5 hours drive through scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. On the way, stop by at the Nabalu Fruit Market to buy some fruits and souvenir. As you arrive, check in at the mountain lodge and lunch. Continue tour to Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia’s First World Heritage. Visit the Mountain Garden and Exhibition Hall. Optional: There are many trails in the park itself, if you wish to do more jungle walk, please get advice from our guide. Return to the lodge for free at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the mountain lodge. (Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 2 KINABALU PARK – PORING HOT SPRINGS – KOTA KINABALU
Wake up as early as 0700hrs to appreciate the imposing beauty of Mount Kinabalu before your very eyes as it is slowly surrounded by the clouds. After breakfast, check out and proceed for about one hour drive to Poring Hot Springs. Upon arrival, a must visit is the Treetop Canopy Walkway which 20 minutes hike is needed. Experience the height of 41 metres above the ground and length of 157 metres. Or you may just take a dip in the open air Japanese styled bathtub which the hot sulphuric water is believed to have curative powers. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, proceed back to Kota Kinabalu in the afternoon. (Breakfast & Lunch)
** What to bring – Disposable raincoat, cap, sunblock lotion, insect repellent, drinking water, good flashlight, personal toiletries, bath towel, swim wear. Use good walking shoes and bring a good pair of flat sandal. Comfortable cotton T-shirts with long or short pants recommended.
Note: In accordance to the Malaysian Tourism Tax Act 2017, with effect from 1st Sep 2017, all foreign tourists will be charged a flat rate of RM10 per room per night in any registered tourist accommodation premises and this is collected directly by the hotels/resorts/lodges upon check in. The Tourism Tax (TTx) is mandatory under Malaysian Law. Tourism Tax is not included in this package.
